A leather jacket & a snowboard movie premiere :)

20 Oct

Last Saturday was the premiere of Mellowparks.cn‘s snowboard movie ‘Chuanr’ (named after the Chinese character ‘串’ meaning meat-on-a-stick, a typical – and delicious – Beijing street snack). The Mellowparks crew are awesome and know how to put on a great premiere… plus I was especially excited, as the movie was filmed and edited by Ollie! So proud of you huny! : ) If any of you are snowsports lovers, you can check out the teaser here 😉

The premiere was also a chance for me to debut my studded leather jacket, found in a random thrift store near my work – I love the shoulder details!

I’m already starting to plan my weekend ahead.. I’m thinking a lot of sleeping in, and a lot of good food with friends 😉 What do you have planned?

Alice+Olivia

15 Oct

I am so in love with this dress by Alice & Olivia… another gorgeous piece my friend Sally leant me (she has an incredible eye for clothes!), and the dress I was originally planning to wear to the wedding reception had my luggage actually turned up on time! I didn’t want to have taken it all that way for nothing, so when we stopped for a night in Kuala Lumpur on the way back to Beijing, I decided to use the chance to take it out of my suitcase & show it off a little hehe 😉

KL has great nightlife, incredible food, and even better shopping! I have to show you some more pics tomorrow of our brief stop there, as well as some of my purchases… hehe 😉 Hope your weekend is going well! 🙂  Continue reading

Last morning in Bali!

14 Oct

My outfit from our last morning in Bali! This cheerful top was a birthday present, and this is the first chance I’ve had to wear it. I love how bright & cute it is (thank you Erica! hehe 😉 )! So sad to say goodbye to Bali, but it was the perfect way to end the summer 🙂

I hope your weekend is off to a good start – I decided to indulge myself with a massage after work and am now settling in ready for a movie in bed.. it’s nice to have a quiet night at home for once! 😉
